A Short (But Exciting) Month for The Josh and Pete Band

[The official press release.]

February might be the shortest month of the year, but Josh Band, Pete Band, King Alon, and Dr. Lemonade will be making the most of it!

AT LONG LAST, ORIGIVATION

It was supposed to happen in December. Then it got delayed. Now it's finally happening: The Josh and Pete Band will be featured in Origivation's February issue! And what better company could the guys have asked for? Cake will be on the cover! And The Absolute Zeros, early supporters of The Josh and Pete Band, will also be featured! If print copies disappear as quickly as they are expected to, look for the online edition at http://www.origivation.com. Both are expected to be released this Friday.

BE DR. LEMONADE'S VALENTINE

Those who have donated to the band's album fund will get their prizes in time for Valentine's Day. Because The Josh and Pete Band love their fans. And money.

TURN ON, THEN TUNE IN

Radio continues to deem The Josh and Pete Band's demo EP too good for a mere demo. Having already been embraced by Philly's own Volta Radio and a little station called WXPN (ahem), radio stations in other parts of the country are taking notice. Ohio's ruKus radio has proven once more that The Josh and Pete Band have a home on independent radio, while California's Jelly Bean Radio (whose Captain Jelly Bean has featured "The Captain Song"!) demonstrates that The Josh and Pete Band can provide ample entertainment for the kids. When they're not singing about sex.

R.I.P. JOSH BAND?

Finally, a rumor which must be put to rest. The internet was all ablaze after Pete Band announced that his brother Josh had died in a horrible table tennis accident. Pete even claimed to have released a recording of "Strawberry Fields Forever" in which he seems to say "Cranberry sauce" but actually says "I buried Josh." But never fear: Josh Band is alive and well and living in a house somewhere. Turns out Pete was just joshing.

But in all seriousness, March and April will most likely have big news as well, so please stay tuned! And as always, thank you for reading.
